Just found some piccles of one of my fave designers ASHISH's A/W '11 collection shown last night at London Fashion Week.

Always reppin' sequins which spruces up a nice grungy ensemble. Like the shape and colour of this dress. Good roots too.

Want some cobweb tights and what appear to be PATTERNED CREEPERS! Très bon.

Last but not least..... My FAVOURITE! M.I.A was there. Front row. In a turquoise suit with her new blonde doo. Gorgeous. Gorgeous. Gorgeous.

You may have heard of this beaut..... she CRACKS me up. This is an old classic vid of hers. She's got loads of others but thought i'd start off with this one. You could literally spend hours watching all of them, some better than others.

Chin up on this glum Monday afternoon! Peace X

Solange Knowles has evolved from THIS:

.....into THIS:

Loving the parted fro and hip-length braids. Well 90's.
Keeps it pretty simple but always a splash of AFRICANA thrown in for good measure. Yes yes.

Look at B looking UH-MAZIN.
Loving the all black with splash of colour, and the shades best of all.

Also, ECHELON is shooting the new t-shirt range this Friday in and around Brick Lane. Très exciting! :) I'll leave with you this number... I play it at least once a week and have a bounce. You should too.

Evenin' readers.

Update on Echelon gear; bunting/tee's/earrings/necklaces in the process of being made. Think loose.... think Africana.... think black.... think bold. Should be available to purchase in the next week or two.

Also, I thought it was about time I explained the name 'Echelon';

1. It's one of my nicknames.... Echelon/Eshh/Eshha.
2. It's an anagram of Helen Co. (Me name be Helen).
3. I like the meaning; A level or rank in an organisation/profession/society. The latter makes me think an Echelon can be - rich, poor, young, old, fat, thin, ie. ANYONE. You. Me. Him. Her. You get me.

Anyway... i'll leave you with a nice little number from The Very Best (Radioclit & Esau Mwamwaya collab).

Recently one of me mates opened a gallery/print house in Berlin; MOTHER DRUCKER (drucker = 'printer' Auf Englisch). Set in a GAWJUS old hair salon the gallery offers on site screen printing for all types of artistes as well as a space to display their work, which sets it apart from others in the city. As passionate screen printers they use the space to create their own art and of coursh, for emerging and established artists to "not just to display their work, but to share and collaborate, move and inspire".

Having still not visited it I keep up to date with what's going on by visiting their bloggle. An artist from the all female opening show last October which caught my eye was Sroop Sunar. Having lived in New Delhi during her teens she was inspired by Indian packaging. Here's some of my faves;

If you're into it (and live in or near Lunden) go check out her solo show 'The Golden Glassy', inspired by Brisitsh pub culture at The Arts Gallery, High Holborn before it ain't there no more (on until the 1st March). Limited edition prints available to buy ye.

This blog is for me to share with you my new 'ECHELON' products as I introduce new designs or transform others. I will also show you my discoveries/inspirations along the way, which will most probably include music, fashion, lifestyle, culture and anything else I can think of.

I'm not exactly a whizz with technology so bare with me while I figure this all out.

Have a gander at these images which tickle my fancy.
